Remediation Group Rescues MARTA

Remediation Group rescued MARTA from shutting down it’s 5 Point Station this past weekend.  Located in downtown Atlanta, 5 Point Station is one of MARTA’s busiest stations. Disaster struck when the sewer pump failed and caused the bathrooms to be shut down immediately. Our Emergency Response Team was called in to develop a septic water extraction plan. Our team of expects developed a continuous extraction process that allowed MARTA to reopen their bathrooms after only shutting restrooms down for one evening, allowing passengers limited interruption. Remediation Group remained available to MARTA 24/7 until a new sewer pump was sourced and installed. CEO Fred Rodriquez comments, “It was definitely a challenge but our team responded quickly and brainstormed a detailed solution with the right equipment and manpower.” The whole team at Remediation Group is proud of the work we did for MARTA and its users.
