Care & Counseling Center of Georgia

On January 7, 2014, the sprinkler lines in the Care and Counseling Center of Georgia burst. This was due to the freezing temperatures caused by the Polar Vortex.  Both stories of the 10,000 sf building were flooded and the damage was considered a Class 3 water loss.  A Class 3 water loss, as defined in the IICRC S500 Standard for Professional Water Damage Restoration is, the “greatest amount of water, absorption and evaporation.  It is possible water may came from overhead. Ceilings, walls, insulation, carpet, cushion and subfloor in virtually the entire area are saturated.”  Upon receiving the call, RGI Commercial mobilized and had crews onsite within an hour to begin the structural drying process.
RGI Commercial assisted the client with the insurance claims process as well as developed and implemented a structural drying plan.  Our structural drying plan ultimately prevented mold and bacteria growth from taking place.  RGI Commercial’s Reconstruction Division was contracted to rebuild and restore the facility to its pre-loss condition.  Overall, the contract value was $300,000.&*&*&
